The floor is the surface that never lies. A bad install shows within six months — cupping wood, spalling stone, drumming tile. Our floors are specified and installed to last decades in Miami's humidity and salt air, not to look good for a photo shoot.
01 · Approach
Our Approach
We select materials at the source — European oak mills, Italian quarry yards, Brazilian slab warehouses. We acclimate materials on site for the right number of days before install. Subfloor flatness is measured with a laser, not a 4-foot level. Adhesives and vapor barriers are specified for Miami's climate zone, not a generic spec sheet.
02 · What We Build
What we build.
Wide-plank European oak
9-inch and wider, site-finished or European pre-finished, hand-selected for grain and color.
Large-format porcelain
Up to 3m × 1.5m slabs for continuous surfaces — kitchens, wet rooms, pool decks.
Natural stone for coastal homes
Travertine, limestone, bluestone — sealed and maintained for salt resistance.
Heated floors in Miami
Yes, it's worth it in primary baths and select living areas. Specified during rough-in.
03 · Frequently Asked
Frequently asked.
Can you do wide-plank oak over concrete slab?
Yes. We use floating or glue-down systems with vapor barriers specified for slab-on-grade Florida construction. No cupping, no hollow sound.
How do you match existing floors in a renovation?
We take a sample to a custom mill or a matching yard and cut/stain/finish to match the existing floor's species, grain, and patina.
What about radiant heat under stone?
Excellent pairing. We specify the heat layer, insulation board, and stone separately — and guarantee the floor doesn't crack because of differential expansion.
